  3. The Issue • Texting while driving is a big problem. • Fatal car crashes. • Too many deaths • Too many teens • Families have been destroyed.

  4. Facts • 570,000 accidents leading to minor and serious injuries are caused each year by cell phones. • Texting and driving increases your chance of crashing by 25 percent.

  5. Teens • 15 to 19 year olds make up the largest proportion of distracted drivers. • Talking on a cell phone while driving can make a young driver's reaction time as slow as that of a 70 year old.
