DESN 103 Exam #1Things you should know…. • 3 primary formats for coordinate input: Absolute, Relative rectangular, relative polar • Units: decimal (40.625), architectural (1’5-1/4”) • COORDS command controls the operation of the cursor position displayed in the status bar • Direct distance entry: a shortcut method of entering points allowing you to use the cursor to specify the direction and a keyboard entry to specify the distance • Square brackets in a command string give options you can choose from • To cycle through stacked objects to select one to erase, position the cursor over the objects, hold down shift key, and press the space bar • To form a crossing window to select objects you should pick where there is no object and drag to the LEFT
