This presentation showcases the progress made in setting up a model for processing source contribution data and designing scenarios supporting coastal development strategies. The status includes completion of questionnaires and ongoing data collection and analysis. Challenges include lack of uniformity in questionnaire data and a need for digital hourly data of major pollutants and weather parameters. Data analysis examples from Marseille and Genoa highlight additional digital data received and sampling site locations.

WP3.2 PROGRESS University of West Macedonia J.G. Bartzis, E.Tolis, K.F. Filiou 2nd Partners meeting - Barcelona, 13th January 2010
LINKS WITH OTHER TASKS • Task 4.4: Set-up of the model by processing source contribution data. • Task 5.2: Identification of the risk activities and vulnerability systems benchmarking. • Task 5.4: Design of scenarios supporting coast development strategies.
WP 3.2 STATUS • 5 completed questionnaires • Data collection of current situation for at least 1 year (in progress) • Analysis of the data collection (in progress) • Composition of the 5 reports (in progress)
QUESTIONNAIRE’S PROBLEMS • No uniformity among the data of the five questionnaires • Obscure figures • No digital data for analysis
ADDITIONAL NEEDS / PROPOSAL Digital available hourly data for at least one year: • major pollutants (PM, SO2, NOx, CO, O3) • wind speed and wind direction • temperature and humidity for the near the port station(s).
DATA ANALYSIS EXAMPLES – MARSEILLE Receivedadditional digital data of: • NO • SO2 • PM10 • NO2 • PM2.5 • Ozone
