  11. EDEN – Central management tasks 1/4 • Central management tasks: • General project Management, • Coordination of Training activities, • Coordination of Dissemination activities

EDEN – Central management tasks 2/4 • General project management tasks: • acting as the permanent contact point with the EU, • day-to-day co-ordination & troubleshooting, • providing administrative guidance for partners, • following up the EDEN milestones, • conducting financial monitoring, • facilitating communication between project teams, • liasing, through EDEN focal persons, for gender, personnel and ethical issues. • organising and reporting the steering committee meetings, the project inaugural meeting and the annual EDEN meetings, • producing six-monthly management reports, • coordinating the annual project reviews and audits.

EDEN – Central management tasks 3/4 • Training coordination tasks: • co-ordination of the horizontal EDEN standardisation workshops, • follow-up of the subsequent Sub-Project standardisation workshops, • follow-up of training activities within Sub-Projects, • follow-up of the PhD program, • promotion of an “EDEN student network”.

  14. EDEN – Central management tasks 4/4 • Dissemination coordination tasks: • A dissemination strategy will be completed by month 6 of the project. The dissemination plan will include : • EDEN Website, EDEN Leaflet, EDEN Newsletter. • Guidelines for publication of workshop proceedings, scientific papers, general public articles. • Organisation/Participation of/to International conferences. • Collaboration protocols with existing projects allowing EDEN to engage with actors beyond research, with specific reference to schools and gender issues. • The establishment and management of an EDEN association.
