Choose 1 Research Question—find 1 Related Source 1. What are some of the most endangered species (animals) in the world today? 2. What are some new developments in technology that will benefit us? 3. What plants are used by humans for reasons other than food?
Document the source and 3-5 Facts you learn from the source • 1. Open a new document in Pages. • 2. Title: Wild Research: (Type in your research question after the colon.) • 3. Source: paste in the link that you’ve used (Make sure that you use a “credible source) • 4. Facts: Make a numbered list of 3-5 facts that you have found on this topic.
10 Minutes to find your source and set up your fact sheet • If you don’t finish in time, don’t worry. • This becomes homework for you tonight. Needs to be finished before next Wednesday.
Wild Research Wednesday • Open your Wild Research file • Scroll past source 1 to the next page. • Copy and paste the “formatting details” but delete the specific information relevant to your first source. • Add an additional question that builds upon the title question—list it under the original question. This question should refine your research on this topic in some way. • Begin searching for a source to answer your new question.
Wild Research 10/15 • Finish your source #2 Fact sheet • Generate a 3rd question that is based upon your research and also relates back to your original question. • Find a source that answers the 3rd question; write 3-5 related facts. • Make sure that your formatted sources look like the one on ebackpack.
