Conclusions IMK MIPAS2D The above analysis suggests that an inadequate modeling of the horizontal variability of temperature fields could explain the day-night differences observed in the IMK data as well as their reversal when changing season.
HNO3 issue Oxford day-nighttime CFC11 (left) and HNO3 (right). The opposite VMR vertical gradient induces a reversal of the day-nighttime difference.
