Introduction • First I will go through the essential points that must be remembered when using any type of machinery. • Following on from this I will talk about the fact that you are not mechanics so don’t try to be. • Finally I will list the steps that must be taken in order to safely use a clipper saw successfully.

  6. Essentials • SAFETY GLASSES MUST BE WORN AT ALL Times. • EAR PROTECTION MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. • NEVER OPERATE ANY MACHINERY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL. • IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS SWITCH OF POWER IMMEDIATELY. • IF YOU DO NOT FEEL CONFIDENT USING THE MACHINE DO NOT USE IT.

Rules to Remember When Cutting A Brick • THE MACHINE MUST BE TURNED ON AND BLADE RUNNING BEFORE THE BRICK IS FED IN TO BE CUT. • ALWAYS FEED THE BRICK IN FROM THE FRONT OF THE BLADE, NEVER FROM THE BACK. • FIRST CONTACT OF THE BLADE MUST ALWAYS BE WITH THE END OF THE BRICK AND NOT THE CENTER. • HANDS MUST BE KEEPT ON EITHER SIDE OF THE BLADE, AND NEVER IN LINE WITH THE BLADE. • HANDS MUST BE KEEPT WELL CLEAR OF RUNNING BLADE. • MATERIALS BEING CUT MUST BE HELD SECURE IN PLACE.
