How do you sell it? • Invite School Committee members and administrators • Satisfies Massachusetts Health Curriculum Framework Strands: Social & Emotional Health; Safety & Prevention • YRBS Results • Staggering statistics on CDC-sexual violence: 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced rape, physical violence and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime • Satisfies NASPE Standards 1, 2, 5 and 6. • Attend a graduation and you will ask; “How can we not teach it?”
