Background • FNP system was no longer meeting our needs for reports, data collection, etc. • No linkages between USDA Foods/Commodity system and applications/claims system. • Regulatory changes require system changes. • NDFoods designed and developed by CNFD staff with help from the ND Information Technology Department.

  3. Access NDFoods

  4. Logging In • System is accessed through Ndlogin • Old FNP user name and Password do not work as NDFoods login. • Authorized representative is only person with initial permission to log in. • Authorized representative signs up all additional individuals to use NDFoods. • All individuals must have an NDlogin before being entered into NDFoods. The Login ID is entered as part of the process for adding an individual.

  5. Navigating the System Program Acronyms: SNP – School Nutrition Program SCH – School USDA Foods (Commodities) FFVP – Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program CACFP – Child and Adult Care Food Program SMP – Special Milk Program SFSP – Summer Food Service Program

  7. Sponsor Profile The “Details” section lists the General information for the Sponsor. The tabs below provide Sponsor-level information for each of the programs in which the Sponsor participates. The status of the programs is listed as Incomplete because the Sponsor needs to renew these programs. Click on the Sites tab to view the sites administered by the Sponsor. The Individuals tab provides information about the Individuals assigned by the Sponsor and their roles.

  8. Site-Level Information The “Details” section on the View Site page provides general information about each site. To view a different site click on View Sponsor at the bottom of the page and choose a different site. The programs tab lists program information specific to that site. The individuals tab lists individuals assigned to the site as well as the programs in which they work.

  24. Program Renewals • Each program renewal will display a renewal table. • There are general details and program specific details for the Sponsor, the Individuals, and for each Site. • All links followed by red dot must be reviewed and updated if necessary.

Program Renewals Cont. • If you start one of the renewal links but don’t finish it, the dot turns yellow. • Once you finish the renewal link the dot turns green. • When all of the dots are green you are ready to submit the renewal for approval. • If information is missing you will receive a message in red listing the information that is missing. • You cannot submit the renewal to DPI until all of the information is completed.
