You might want to be careful around some of the snakes because they might be venomous and you might want to watch out for the smaller mammals because they might have rabies or some kind of disease.

The organisms that are considered pests are the smaller organisms like rats, mice, roaches, termites, ants, spiders, and all sorts of little organisms that can get in people’s houses are considered pests like mosquitoes, flies, and bees.

There are some living organisms that can get into your house. The organisms that usually invade into your house are mice, rats, roaches, termites, and all sorts of other insects can get into your house.

In winter you may stay quite safe, but in summer time before coming to Miass you should be inoculated against ticks. They can be very dangerous when they stick into your skin because they can cause serious illness encephalitis.

In the “wild” you can see a great variety of living organisms – from ants and mosquitoes to elks, bears, squirrels, foxes, wolves. In our lakes you can fish trout, carps, pikes, sazans. In our forests, woods and parks you can see trees covered with lichen. It is considered to be an indicator of air cleanness. You also can see ant-hills walking in our forests.
Slide 20: There are bee-masters who keep bee-hives. Bee-keeping is very popular in our region. Unfortunately you cannot find “wild” honey in our woods and forests.

In summer time you should keep your homes and flats from mosquitoes and flies using special mosquito nets. In some flats there also may be cockroaches. You can keep them out using special means such as sprays. Some people live in private houses, they may suffer from mice. To keep them out of houses people must call special service.

Canada has strong animal rights Any abuse or injury to an animal can put you in a serious situation. In our country you have to watch out the most for ducks, goose, dear, bear, skunks, birds, raccoon these are just some of the most populated animals in Canada, they often run into the middle of the highway or street causing crashes and a series of injures.

Anything that can go into your house unwanted, eat your food, carry dieses into your family, strong since of odor is basically considered a Pest Mice are considered as pests (unless you keep them as pets), they carry a lot of dieses through out the country, they eat your food and so forth, they won’t harm you unless you threaten them, if they bite or scratch you would need to go to the hospital to get cured so you don’t get the disease. We get rid of them by simply putting trapping or poisoning them, or if you have a cat they would run away.

In North America we have a very rigid diet; we only eat things out of the super market and barely eat any wild animals. You can go fishing and eat the fish You can also eat animals like rabbits, dear if you are really desperate. You might want to avoid eating rats because they carry some dieses and they will make you sick.

Slide 31:In Trinidad and Tobago we do not have many dangerous insects and animals. You would be advised to walk with insect repellent for mosquitoes and any allergy medicine for wasps stings etc.

Slide 34:IN our homes, there are few large pests, the only one might be the snake and some rodents like rats. For people who live near the swamp and rivers, caimans may come but only to sun out on their decks and not often.

We mainly have stray dogs and cats as road kill and we do not eat those. On occasion a manicou or some other wild animal may get killed, but we do not eat that either, because it is nasty and can contain pollutants from the environment (and will start to decay early because it is hot here)
