Online Performance Appraisal • Online Performance Appraisal will help the employees to fill their appraisals online. • There will be absolutely no paper work involved • Each of the employee will be getting an email communication once the appraisal is ready for filling.
Log In Employees can login to the Online Appraisal Application using the Login Page. Login Details User id : Redington email id (without typing @redingtongulf.com) Password : System password
Main Page This is the page that will be displayed when the user logs onto the system. The following information can be filled using different links: Self Appraisal – Employee can open the appraisal form to fill his/her appraisal. View Self Appraisal – Employee will be able to view the filled appraisal form Reporting Manager’s Feedback – This Link will be available to the Reporting Managers to update the comments on his team members.
Main Page Business Head View – Business Heads will have a view of all the appraisal forms of their respective businesses. Appraisal History – An employee will be able to view the previous years’ appraisals.
Main Page Sign Out – User can sign out of the application. Before proceeding to fill the form, an employee will have to specify the current designation, years of experience in the current designation and the current location and must press the ‘save’ button. PAF Status - This section will display the status of the employee’s self appraisal.
Self Appraisal Form Once the employee clicks on ‘Self Appraisal’ link, this form will be displayed. Employee will have to fill in all the sections of this form. Each section will have to be saved separately by saving the ‘Save’ button. Unless all the sections are saved, the user will not be able to submit the form.
Self Appraisal Form Rating can be selected from the list provided in each of the sections. The maximum characters that can be entered in each of the sections is specified in the heading. Characters more than the specified number will not be permitted. Using the ‘UP’ arrow, the user can navigate to the top of the page.
Self Appraisal Form The status of the appraisal is indicated at the top of the page. If the indicator is ‘Red’, it means the section has not been initiated. If the Indicator is ‘Green’ it means the section has been completed. None of the sections can be left blank. All the sections are mandatory except for the Training Section.
Feedback about your reporting manager (Confidential Section) Please note that you can capture feedback about your reporting manager in this section. Be rest assured that the reporting manager will not be able to view the feedback that you give about him/her in the appraisal form. Hence, give honest answers to all the questions given in this section.
Training Need Identification This is the section where one can record the trainings received during the year as well as the trainings required in the coming year. An employee can add multiple trainings in this section. The employee will have to Click on ‘Add’ button to add the trainings attended/required.
Final Submission This is the final submission page. The employee will have to save each and every section to submit the form. To submit the form, the ‘Submit’ button will have to clicked. Once submitted, user will not be able to modify the contents. He can only view the Form using the View Appraisal link in the Main Page. Once the form is submitted, an email notification will be sent to the Reporting Manager that the Employee has submitted the form.
View of Self Appraisal This link is used to view the Self Appraisal. All the sections will be frozen and will not be available for modification. This option is only to view the contents of the form. User can take a print out of the Appraisal form from this page. If the self Appraisal has not been initiated, then all the sections will be displayed as ‘Not Initiated’.
Appraisal Feedback This link will be visible only for the Reporting Managers. Using this link, the reporting manager can select the employee for whom the feedback needs to be given. Once the reporting manager clicks on the name of the employee, the appraisal form of that employee will be opened.
Reporting Managers’ Feedback Form This form is for the Reporting Manager to give his feedback to the Employee. Reporting Manager can put his remarks/ratings in each of the sections . Reporting Manager will not be able to modify the Employee’s Remarks/Ratings. Each section will have to be saved before submitting the form. Once the Reporting Manager submits the form, an email notification will be sent to the employee to ‘Accept’ the Reporting Manager’s feedback.
Appraisal Acceptance Once the Reporting Manager fills the form and submits it, the employee will have the access to the form. Employee will have the option of Accepting or Rejecting the Reporting Manager’s comments/feedback. To ‘Reject’, an employee will have to enter the ‘Comments’ column on why he’s rejecting and then click on the ‘Reject’ button. One cannot reject more than two times.
Appraisal Acceptance If rejected, an email notification will be sent to the Reporting Manager that the Apraisee has rejected the feedback. If the employee presses ‘Accept’, you will have to enter any comments you might have and click on the ‘Accept’ button. Once Accepted, an email notification will be sent to the Final Reviewer of the employee for his feedback.
Reporting Manager Comments for Rejection The Reporting Manager will have the form available once again to put his comments if the employee rejects the Reporting Manager’s feedback. The Reporting Manager will put in the comments in the ‘Comments’ section. Once the reporting manager saves the form, the employee will get an email notification that the reporting manager has updated the form with his comments.
Business Head View Once the Final Reviewer submits the appraisal form of the employee by providing his feedback, the Business Head will have the form available for View. Once the Business Head clicks on the Link, a page will open for him to select the Department he would like to view the Appraisals for. Based on the selected department, all the employees under that department will be listed. When he clicks on a particular employee, the appraisal form of that employee will be opened for view.
Business Head View The Business head will be able to view the feedback about the reporting manager, entered by the employee along with the other information on the form. The feedback about one’s reporting manager will not be seen either by the Reporting Manager nor the Final Reviewer for confidential purpose.
Appraisal History When the Employee clicks on the ‘Appraisal History’ menu option, the screen shown will be as attached. Using this link, Employee will be able to view all the previous Appraisal forms that have been already completed. Functional Area – Specifies the Function the Employee belongs to (Sales, Service or Support) Department – Department which the Employee belongs to
Appraisal History Period – Appraisal Period which the Employee would like to view the Appraisal for. When the ‘Get List’ button is clicked, Employee can click on the Hyper Link (Employee Name) in the Grid. On click of the Hyper Link, Employee will be taken to the Appraisal Form for the selected period. This information will be available only from next year, as this is the very first time, we have started the online process.
