  7. How it ends??? • Trembling + confusion have them as they leave. They are afraid because… • They leave silent and afraid • What is missing? • No question Jesus was raised from death. • There is no resurrection appearance • Why?

  8. Challenge + assurance • Truth of the resurrection does not depend on us • How do we finish the story? • Do we go? Do we tell? Do we look? • Jesus restores his disciples + gives them a mission • No matter our silence and weak faith, we can always return to the Lord. None of us can go so far away we cannot be touched by God’s healing presence (Gail O’Day)
