PDHPE Learning Area • One of 8 learning areas in NSW secondary curriculum • Learning area comprises 4 courses in Stage 6: • PDHPE 2 Unit • Community and Family Studies 2 Unit • Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation CEC • Exploring Early Childhood CEC (CEC: Content Endorsed Course)
PDHPE Stage 6 In 2009 PDHPE attracted approximately 20% of the HSC cohort and was the 4th most popular elective (behind Maths, Biology, Business Studies).
