Agriculture, the domestication of plants and animals led to establishment of villages because people had the advantage of planting food and could stay in one place for supply of nourishment instead of constantly need to move to new area’s to forage for food, villages led to trade between people, which directed eventually the creation of Cities. Because of benefit of agriculture people that lived near these river banks were able to plant and grow their down food supply, the need to move from place to place to forage for food was imitated therefore the creation of building a village occurred. Mesopotamia and Egypt shared a common condition that supported their emergence of becoming societies however how the societies eventually grew into civilizations was a completely different path.
