1. Easy to Read Slides Limit # of lines per slide to 6-8 plus title DME
2. Key Points Only No complete sentences! DME
Change is a JOURNEY Not an EVENT 3. Use Graphics/Visuals enhance points, draw analogies, make a case, provide evidence DME
4. Use Colours with Restraint -most slides dark text on light backgrounds -very light text on dark backgrounds DME
5. Use No More Than Two Different Fonts Throughout Your Presentation Font sizes should be between 28 point (body) and 36 point (titles) DME

Application • Practical review of Tool bar features: ( Views, Insert, Format, Tools, Slide Show (Transitions), Slide Designs/Layouts) • Create or modify a presentation • Keep the TOP 20 TIPS in mind DME
Application Requirements • Use slide master • Embed video clip • consider background • consider date/time and footer • Use relevant graphic or image from www.flickr.com DME
To Avoid • Visual impact that overwhelms • Color combinations that are difficult to read • Images that are too small to read • Usingtoo many different fonts • CAPITAL LETTERS FOR EVERYTHING • It is not advisable to use complete sentences. It is better to use key words or ideas to reinforce learning. • Cramming too much on to one page.
