Why does it matter?!? • After an answer document has been submitted for scoring, districts will NOT be able to make corrections to the student information such as demographic, program participation or score code status. • Inaccurate student information may prevent the current test administration data from merging with a student’s permanent record file. • District/campus accountability could be adversely affected. • A student’s document might not be scored. So How Do I Get Started? • Upon receipt, the preprinted information on all answer documents and precoded labels must be verified for accuracy and completeness. • The information submitted on the answer document should reflect the student’s status at the time of testing. • If the information has been precoded correctly, there is no need for it to be hand-gridded on the answer document. • Hand-gridded information will override any precoded information other than the student name, PEIMS number, date of birth and gender.
