(take into account hearing aids, if you use them) • B1.9 How much difficulty did you have in hearing what is said in a conversation with one other person in a quiet room? (take into account hearing aids, if you use them)
Correlation between Hearing Questions and Life Activities Questions
Results Summary • World Health Survey Questions on hearing that included thresholds were more sensitive. • In general, WG Q showed good specificity but low sensitivity. • WG Q indicated higher sensitivity and lower specificity among older age groups
Results Summary (cont.) • Fiji and Philippines have much lower sensitivity scores • W2 is significantly and moderately correlated with B1.8 and B1.9 • B1.8 and B1.9 are significantly and highly correlated with each other
