4、Problems in Planning and Construction of Exhibition Centers in China.
1) Lack of central planning in accordance with regional economic and social development: exhibition centers scatter mostly in coastal areas.
2)Lack of marketing research leads to inadequate size: oversupply of space, strong competition to be expected.
3) Overemphasis on deluxe interior and exterior decoration leads to high cost and impracticality.
4) Site selection is not rational ----Serious traffic problem due to being located in downtown area or far away from the city. ----Inadequate planning inside the centers due to insufficient land space. ----No space reserved for future development ----Parking problem.
