An average day on Arran • Morning briefing meeting • Rehabilitation v Recreation : striking the right balance • Low intensity and open skills-based groups • Higher intensity groups and 1:1 work • Mindfulness, Relaxation, Social skills/communication group, Managing Emotions • DBT skills group / Anger Management / Anxiety Management / Coping with mental illness / Drug & Alcohol / Community Living skills • Art Psychotherapy Group & 1:1 work • Escorted Physical Wellbeing groups : Swimming / Cycling / Bowls The Ayr Clinic, Partnerships in Care
Into the future ! • Stage 2 : Developing mentalising approach across all disciplines • Stage 3 : Developing a small MBT psychotherapy team • Stage 4 : Increasing access to non-verbal Psychotherapy inputs
