Our Mission • At the ForwardPass Foundation we create transformative learning opportunities particularly for people of color and women by equipping them with the skills, practices, and mindset needed for a lifelong career in IT. We strive to eliminate systemic barriers that prevent participation and leadership of minority technologists in the economy. Through events, training, early career programs, and knowledge sharing, ForwardPass Foundation equips under-represented youth technologists and their allies with the tools, connections, and care they need to advocate for and achieve equity in the information technology industry.

Our Vision • We believe in an initiative which advances transformative learning opportunities, strategies and ideas to underrepresented communities particularly women and people of color to connect to and thrive in the field of computer science.ForwardPass Foundation is focused on expanding individuals’ opportunities to connect to quality education, to expand knowledge, and to build a promising career.
