  4. Koala Adaptations • Koalas are marsupials. That means that they carry there young in pouches like kangaroos. • Koalas sleep most of the day and have a slow metabolism. (metabolism is the process of converting food into energy and other stuff to sustain life.

  5. Interesting facts about Koalas • An adult koala weighs usually less than thirty pounds. • Another interesting fact about koalas is that they don’t drink water! No H20! • Koalas get there water from eucalyptus leafs.
