Making Predictions Read this passage and use your organizer to answer the prediction question. Even though Marcus begged his mom repeatedly to get a puppy, she always says no. She says, “Marcus, you never remember to brush your own teeth! How will you remember to feed and take care of a puppy?” One day as Marcus was walking home from school, he noticed he was being followed by a brown and white puppy. Marcus knelt down and examined the puppy for tags but found none. This puppy didn’t have an owner!
