  2. (What not to do) Baltimore Orioles • The Baltimore Orioles are a professional baseball team based in Baltimore, MD. They are in the Eastern Division of the American League. They play in Camden Yards and are owned by a local lawyer- Peter Angelos. • The Orioles thrived during 1964-1983 winning seven division championships and three world championships during this time. • Famous Oriole players include: Boog Powell, Brooks Robinson, Cal Ripkin Jr., Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, Rick Dempsey, and Earl Weaver. • Until this year, the Orioles had not seen a winning season since 1997. This season the Orioles made it into the playoffs, until finally losing to the New York Yankees.
