  2. DNA DNA is located in the nucleus in the form of chromatin. It is made of units called nucleotides.

  3. DNA Nucleotides are composed of 3 parts: Nucleic acid A sugar A phosphate group

  4. DNA Is in a spiral shape called a double helix. When unwound DNA is in the shape of a ladder. The side of the ladder is made of alternating sugar and phosphate

  5. DNA Molecules. The sugar in DNA is deoxyribose. The four nitrogen bases in DNA are: Adenine and Thymine Cytosine and Guanine

  6. DNA Adenine and thymine always pair together. Cytosine and guanine always pair together. (Andy Taylor and Cousin Goober)
