1868 – a track was built to Třebíč by ÖNWB (Austrian Northwestern Railway Company). • March 16, 1871 – The first train arrived into a newly built train station in Třebíč at 12:15. • Třebíč wasn’t satisfied with the location of the station. It was built too far from the town, behind Stařeč.People from Třebíč wanted the track to be build closer to the town. It was the reason why new railway lines were built afterwards, called “The Czech-Moravian Cross-country Railway”.
June 1, 1924 – a fast train started to travel from Třebíč to Okříšky • March 5, 1926 – the telephone was established • July 28,1929–the first person died (a shunter František Jan was put to death while shunting the 1506 train on the second truck) • 1929–a water supply and drainage were constructed • October 10,1938–building a ramp was completed
1947 – the president Edvard Beneš visited the train station twice. • December 10, 1949–the first collision of a car and • a train at the level crossing in Borovina (a part of Třebíč)–there were 4dead peopleand 28 injured. • May 23, 1954–a fast train travelled for the first time from Třebíč to Praha
