Characteristics of a Helpful Recommendation By Michael Wilson
Constructive • The class schedule is very organized, informative, and appropriate with a time-sensitive calendar. It would be extra helpful if links to various web resources such as Facebook or LinkedIN connected automatically to the course so that the social media facets of the class were already connected.
Specific • In reading through the Class Schedule the initial mention of Social Media sites is clear and concise; it would be equally helpful to include a link to a folder for each social media tool to be able to leave comments and folders within the appropriate folder.
Measurable • The Class Schedule is an excellent outline and appropriate timelines for the course milestones; it would be great to also have downloadable instructions as a link to the various Social Media sites that will be used throughout the course. Such instructions, within the curriculum calendar would allow for an easy transition to getting started and establishing the relevant Social Media tools required.
Sensitive • The Class Calendar is a nice way to guide your students to their weekly assignments that are currently all located within one folder. You may want to consider including a separate Session folder for each week to organize each topic weekly and thematically.
Balanced • The Class Schedule is a very effective way to guide your students to their weekly assignments that are currently all located within one folder. I was a somewhat confused and upon viewing all the course assignments in one folder, however; and, perhaps something to consider might be a way to include a separate Session folder for each week to better organize student topics as well as providing the direct website links to the various Social Media tools required to support and succeed in this great course offering.
Conclusion • Positive feedback is essential to constant course improvement for the instructors and for the students!
