  2. Single sample test • A single measurement is done under identical conditions excepting for time is known as single sample test.

  3. Multi sample test • In this test repeated measurement of a given quantity is done using different test conditions such as employing different instruments, different ways of measurement & by using different observations.

  4. Histogram • A histogram is a graphical representation of the distribution of data. 

  5. Gaussian curve • Characteristics : concentrated on centre & symmentic

  6. Normal law of error (normal/gaussian curves of error)

  7. Probability error r = 0.6745σ
