  4. American Proverbs • “The best things in life are free.” • “Do as I say, not as I do.” • “If you can’t beat them, join them.” • “Old habits die hard.” • “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.”

  5. Task ~10 minutes Go to your assigned proverb With your group, try to read proverb in Kinyarwanda, then read it in English Discuss the meaning of the proverb together You will share all of this with the entire class
