THREE BASIC CATEGORIES • Developed Properties That Use The Original ITT Stormwater System (Residential and Commercial). Current Fee is $8/ERU/Month • Some Property Owners Must Receive Reduced or No Fee To Meet the Law • Some Property Owners that Use the System Do Not Currently Pay
Credits and Exemptions • 23% For Having a Permitted Stormwater Systems • Outside Service Area (% of area exempted from fee) • Extra Onsite Retention or Detention(0.22% for every 1% Reduction in Peak Discharge) • Community Wide Drainage System • City Easement (% of area exempted from fee) • 100 Year Flood Plain (% of area exempted from fee) • Wetland (% of area exempted from fee) • Reduced Service Credit
What’s Different? • CHANGE APPEALS TO CREDITS DETERMINED BY CITY STAFF WITH OPTION TO APPEAL WITH A NOMINAL FEE/DEPOSIT • NO PROPERTY SIZE THRESHOLDS • PREPARED CHART OF OPTIONS FOR “BULK LAND” CREDITS • PREPARED CHART OF ESTIMATED FEES FOR INDIVIDUAL “BULK LAND” PARCELS
