Examination Items • Sanitary environment in classroom • Lightness on the desk and chalkboard, • Color of chalkboard, Color of wall • Desk and Chair, • Classroom cleaning, • Dust, Garbage, Noise, and so on
Lightness in the classroom • Lightness of easy to read book • Balance of brightness from 300 to 1500 lux

Measurement procedure ① Turn switch to “×1” POSITION. ② Read indicator at the measurement point. *Attention to the standing position of tester. *Attention to the surface angle of lightning meter, read the highest value. ③ If the value indicates more than 1500 lux, turn switch to “×10” POSITION. Correct value become 10 times of the indicator value. Example ; Indicator value 500 →5000 lux. ④ After measurement, turn switch to “OFF” POSITION.
Solution for the bright classroom • be more bright • Change color of wall more bright • Window size, glass, new window • Put some lights from the ceiling • be more dark • Protect from direct sunlight • Use curtain effectively
Desk and Chair机,椅子 • Suitable size for student’s sitting height not too low, not to high, not uneasey • Flat surface
Good Sitting Position • Maintains good eyesight • Prevents fatigue • Makes good efficiency of learning • Standard size is calculate using stature • Desk height(cm)= 6/15*stature(cm)+4 • Chair height(cm)= 4/15*stature(cm)-2
Solution process of the problem • Find problems of school health with all children • Place problems in order and select the most serious problem • Gather data on the problem • Find a solution of the problem • Attempt the solution of the problem • Take data after the attempt • Compare data between before and after and evaluate the attempt • Discuss what is the most serious problems again
What is comfortable classroom? • Brightness, Noise, Temperature, Humidity, Dust, Smell • Status of floor ; flat, no hole, slippery, nail, trash, water • Status of wall and window ; nail, electric wire, grass broken, leakage of water • Desk and chair ; broken, rickety, nail, uneven, uneasy • Other ; leak in the roof, narrow, fragile building, insects, animals, light, handicap studdent • Any dangerous happening or trouble
