FSP Annual Summary Report content • Foreword by the FSP Chair • Executive Summary • Intro to FSP (Who are we) • Achievements in 2012 (Broadloom, Carpet Tiles, Resilient, Resin, Hard) • FSP KPIs/Metrics? (to be discussed) • Appendix – List of FSP members
Example FSP KPIs/Metrics • LEVEL 1 KPIs • Total Energy Use (KPI1) • Total Water Use (KPI2) • Total Waste Generated (KPI3) • LEVEL 2 KPIs (Waste) • Tonnage Material produced/collected (KPI3-1) • Tonnage Material reused (KPI3-2) • Tonnage Material recycled (KPI3-3) • Tonnage Material incinerated (KPI3-4) • Tonnage Material landfilled (KPI3-5) • % Materials diverted from landfill (KPI3-6)
FSP KPIs/Metrics - considerations • What are we measuring? • Must be comparable • Do we split KPIs by flooring sector • Do we include non-manufacturing operations? E.g. distribution and installation? • Same reporting periods • Use metrics to set future targets and report against these • BRE Material Profiles LCA methodology already used across flooring sectors – measure product performance • Are we attempting to create something similar at a company/sector/industry wide level??
