  3. -Er verb conjugation • List all of the subject pronouns Je Nous TuVous Il/Elle Ils/Elles

  4. -Er verb conjugation • Step one: • Separate the –er ending from the root of the verb • Ex. Parler = Parl- • Step two: • Join the root to a new ending

  5. -Er verb conjugation • Subject pronouns and endings Je -e Nous -ons Tu-esVous-ez Il/Elle -eIls/Elles-ent

  6. Exemple Parler => -(er) = Parl- Je parle Nous parlons TuparlesVousparlez Il/ElleparleIls/Ellesparlent

  7. La forme négative • Formula for the negative form of verbs • Subject + ne + verb + pas n’ (+vowel sound)
