  2. Transmediation is everywhere! • Book into movie • Movie into videogame • Pop song into music video • News story into comedy

  3. WRITING ACTIVITY: Can you turn a television text into: --a letter to the editor --a print ad --”how to” product instruction sheet --a comic strip --an astrology column --a sports column --the front and back cover of a book --a recipe

  4. PLAY WITH WRITING With a partner, select a media text represented by one of the SNAPS card and create a new written text, in a different genre, that retains, augments or synthesizes key content of the original media text.
