PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD If you would like to address the Mayor and City Council during the Public Comment section on Tonight’s Agenda, please record your name and address on the sign-up sheet located at the table on the side of the Council room. Please note that public comments are limited to five (5) minutes per speaker.

Charter Amendment Resolution • Charter Amendment Resolution (2nd and 3rd readings) - to repeal and reenact with amendments Section 23 of the City Charter to change the frequency of regular meetings from bi-weekly to semi-monthly, said meetings to take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

  8. Order • Order authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 to the existing Contract for City Project 19-12-M, Memorial Hospital Demolition, in the increased amount of $400,058.18, with no days added to Contract.

  9. Order • Order authorizing the execution of an Employment Agreement with John S. Reckley to provide services as a Laboratory Technician at the WWTP for a term of three (3) years retroactive to March 18, 2014.

  10. Order • Order accepting the proposal of RKG Associates for the preparation of a Strategic Economic Development Plan for the City in the lump sum amount, not to exceed price of $54,600. Funding assistance will be provided by DBED in the amount of $27,300 and ARC in the amount of $25,000, leaving a contribution of $2,300 for the City of Cumberland.

  11. Order • Order declaring a 1991 Chevy 1-Ton Dump Truck to be surplus equipment and authorizing its disposal.

  12. Order • Order accepting the resignation of Steven B. Leyh from the Downtown Development Commission (DDC) and appointing Daniel Bower to the DDC as the citizen-at-large representative for a term effective March 25, 2014 through July 31, 2017.
