14. 2014 GAO Engagement – Actions Status UPDATE: The link to the 2015 NSDI Strategic Plan FY 2015 Status Report was shared with the GAO. http://www.fgdc.gov/nsdi-plan/index_html Four recommendations to FGDC - GAO report March 2015 (GAO-15-19) • Correct search function on Geospatial Platform and monitor regularly • Technical, and catalog record content improvements: on-going • Regular collection of Geospatial Platform performance measures with reports to Steering Committee • Metrics and dashboards being designed and developed • Create address data theme and associated subcommittees and working groups to further a national address database • Pilots being led by DOT and the Census Bureau continue • NDOP to reassess the feasibility of the Imagery for the Nation initiative, identify discrete steps that could be taken to further a national imagery program for all levels of government • Initial assessment provided to SC and CG in September • Co-leadership of the Imagery theme and changes in the subcommittee structure to include satellite expertise in discussion
