Objectives Action orientated approaches • Locating champions –’ Tea and chat’ • Photo competition “Where do I belong?’ • ‘Inter’ week – week of events, films, debates, discussions • Held a round table discussion at Newman L&T Conference - SIG • Evaluation – Interviews & focus groups at various levels • Todays seminar – internally and externally Intercultural Stock take • Collecting information around internationalization of the curriculum • Sharing resources.
What next? • Keep momentum • Embedding internationalization into quality and policy process e.g. validation of new modules and programmes, learning and teaching. • Recognizing skills in staff and students • Strengthening the strategy around internationalization. • Sharing good practice across the institute • Sharing practice and experience with the wider academic world
