The types of climate. Climate controls the kinds of plants and animals that live in a certain area. It also affects the way people live, such as how they dress. In a hot climate people often wear light, cotton clothes but, in a cold climate, they wear heavy, woolly clothes. Different climate:

  1. The types of climate Climate controls the kinds of plants and animals that live in a certain area. It also affects the way people live, such as how they dress. In a hot climate people often wear light, cotton clothes but, in a cold climate, they wear heavy, woolly clothes. Different climate: Climatologists have found there are 12 differences types of climate. They range from cold and dry at the polar ice caps to hot and wet near the Equator. Each climate types has come differences within it.
