Registering your Patients • Assisted Patient Registration Tool • Accessed from the Appointment Book • Patient Clinical record • Must have the correct user permissions – PCEHR Registration • Paperwork can be scanned into the patient record for reference Bp Sunshine Summit 2014
Accessing the PCEHR • Requires the correct user permissions. • A valid HPI-I • Patient must be registered • PCEHR button has two colours • Red – Never accessed at your practice • Green – Has been accessed at least once Bp Sunshine Summit 2014
Added Extras • Secure Messaging • MEDrefer – Find available referees in nearby locations • Electronic Scripts • eRx Express – QR codes on scripts for patient convienience • National Prescription and Dispense Repository • Providing access to patient medication history via the PCEHR Bp Sunshine Summit 2014
Using the NPDR • Prerequisites • BP version 1.8.4.632 or higher • eRx fully configured and working • PCEHR configured and working • Accessing the NPDR • Found in the patient clinical record • Patient must be registered for their PCEHR • Patient record has been accessed by the practice at least once • PCEHR button will have a green border Bp Sunshine Summit 2014

Using the NPDR • Uploading Scripts • Upload option in the New Rx screens • Upload ticked by default • Un-ticking the option only valid for the current prescription • Information transmits when script is printed • New column in the Current Rx and Past Prescription screens • 3 status options: Bp Sunshine Summit 2014
