What would be the IM/KM priorities for a taskforce under GNC? • Agree on the scope of the diagram • Identify ‘best clusters’ examples where good things have happened through clusters (through start of response to end) linked to communication, IM and KM • Standard indicators, standard methodology and standard reporting (transforming data into information) • How to deal with information sensitivity? • TOR based on above for expert to deal with how nutrition data becomes informaition • External linkages- what nutrition information do other sectors use/want? • What nutrition information could be used better by other sectors? • How to build capacity of information managers?

  3. What would be three tasks for a KM Specialist to undertake? • Liaison between country information managers and (to be defined) • Chair (?) of TF • Advocacy on nutrition information • Definitions • Orientation • Donors/managers in organisations

  4. Other suggestions for improving KM/IM support for country clusters? • Expert to be managed by taskforce • Defining more about how nutrition information is used/not used by other sectors • How to deal with data sensitivity • MOH reporting mechanisms to be respected- how that links to role of cluster?
