CropScape A web service based interactive map visualization, dissemination and querying system for U.S. cropland No burden on users No client software development & installation No special software tools needed Data mashable Democratization of data Equitable information access, automatic timely delivery, and geospatial navigation Collaboration with George Mason University/Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS) NASS collaborated with GMU/CSISS (http://csiss.gmu.edu) to develop the CropScape portal. The portal is accessible at http://nassgeodata.gmu.edu/CropScape. The portal allows for interactive map visualization, querying, and dissemination for the first time. Users can use a standard Internet Browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome to view without the burden of installing additional software. NASS collaborated with GMU/CSISS (http://csiss.gmu.edu) to develop the CropScape portal. The portal is accessible at http://nassgeodata.gmu.edu/CropScape. The portal allows for interactive map visualization, querying, and dissemination for the first time.
