MISSION: To facilitate an enlightened shift in mankind’s consciousness toward constructive, sustainable civilization *This mission is God-centered, though not affiliated with any one religion. * We have an ecumenical stance. * Our organization is run by Christians.
FORMAL STRUCTURE INCLUDES COMMUNITY: • “COMMUNITY” is an adjunct committee • to our Board of Directors • We want and invite representatives of the community to be a formal part of our organization through this committee.
Offshoot of Living Consciously® LLC • Curricula Inspired on November 19, 1994 • Practical application of the Law of Love taught by Jesus the Christ • Evidence-based / statistical tracking • Central, foundational principles germane in all human endeavors
RESULTS: • Due to the effectiveness of our curricula: • High at-risk middle & high school students have a • 85% - 91% reduction in disciplinary incidents • 460 families are off welfare due to self-sufficiency • Prison reentries are experiencing recidivism rates of • 0% - 8.3% • Organizations enhance the productivity & employability of their workers by 15%-25%, e.g. one company tracked an ROI of $194,003 for just 24 people. • Accountability is key in all our endeavors.
Expertise within our organization includes: * acquisition & renovation of large convent for human service delivery * former director of a Dominican Center * decades of experience in: - organizational management in both nonprofit & for-profit arenas - fundraising - communications & outreach - community events - - programming & facilitation - volunteer recruitment, leadership, & enrichment
Leadership Highlights: Gayle S. Wisner, Chair and President, 5th generation business family; 38 years in organizational leadership, with strategic planning, capacity building, fiscal responsibility & supervision of staff; social entrepreneur e.g. bringing best business practices to bear to create and sustain social good and improved quality of life for others. Marketing and outreach. Training & facilitation. 1st woman inducted into Grand Rapids, MI Rotary.
Leadership Highlights, cont’d: Susan Heartwell, MPA, 30 years in nonprofit arenas; creation of multiple national prototype agencies for new services to individuals, families, and communities; building of community alliances; major donor & fund raising events. Gindy Gray, 25 years supervision, policy formation, human resources, grant research & writing, mediation, community relations, program planning , development & deliver; fund raising, community events.
Leadership Highlights, cont’d: Tom Heinz, MM Nonprofit board president & executive directorships; financial turnaround; employee leadership and supervision; purchase and renovation of former convent into administrative offices and two shelters. Programming planning, development and delivery; leadership alliances; conflict resolution, analytical decision making, Board training, staff orientation, volunteerism, diversity. Eight years successful sales experience.
Leadership Highlights, cont’d: Mark Clarke is a nonprofit consultant with a firm from Indianapolis focusing on strategic planning that creates unique solutions. He is the former director of a Dominican Center; and in addition held other leadership roles as Vice President of marketing & programming at a national learning & conference center. Obviously, we will be hiring to expand our staff as necessary for Sylvan Springs, and augmenting our expertise. These positions are specifically noted in our strategic plan.

Once the Call was heard and accepted: - earnest prayers for direction - Inspired guidance toward creating a strategic plan worthy of Sylvan Springs and the One Who truly owns it - investment of nearly two thousand hours, plus uncomfortable financial toll for - due diligence - research - creating, planning - writing - forming financial projections A detailed strategic plan has been completed.

We want the Springs available to all budgets: There will be multiple budget levels from which to choose! * Bed & Breakfast: 41 rooms @ $85 Rest have bathrooms down the hall: * Classic European: 49 rooms @ $60 * Family Places: 12 rooms; $28 per person, minimum occupancy 4 * Group Spaces: 38 rooms / 4 to 24 per room; dormitory-style, $25 / person Breakfast included in all room rates!

Sylvan Springs Mineral Water – Bottling Mission support: sending this special Blessing out to all mankind; making it available to all who value it, even when they can’t come here personally. Available, initially, through two channels: * Online: cases in gallon, 1 liter, 500 ml sizes * Specialized distribution channels All who come to the Springs will be able to fill their jugs at the front lawn springs - free & with our blessings.
