  2. 1. INTRO: THIS IS MY 26th YEAR TEACHING 6TH GRADE SCIENCE. 2. LETTER HOME HAS CONTACT INFO: hgold@pps.net.I WILL DO MY BEST TO GET BACK TO YOU ASAP(USUALLY WITHIN 24 HOURS)MY CALENDAR IS ON THE WEST SYLVAN HOMEPAGE.

  3. 3.CURRICULUM- THERE ARE A VARIETY OF TOPICS THAT ARE PART OF THE SCIENCE CURRICULUM. THIS IS THE 4TH YEAR WE ARE DOING INTEGRATED SCIENCE. STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE LIFE, EARTH AND PHYSICAL SCIENCE.

  4. 6th Grade Life Science Units: • Studying People Scientifically • Human Body Systems • Cell Biology & Disease • Energy • Weather and Climate • Science Inquiry • Experimental Design • Lots of subtopics within each main idea.

  5. EXPECTATIONS • AGENDA- CHECK IT • HOMEWORK- ASK TO SEE IT. IS IT COMPLETE? • ODS- STUDENTS ARE GOING 11/4-11/9 for a full 5 days. • GO ONLINE TO ACCESS GRADES • CHECK WEB PAGE CALENDAR FOR DAILY WORK • BOOK IS AVAILABLE ONLINE AT www.lab-aids.com students have their own username and password
