Male reproductive system External Structures: reproducti... • Penis: is made up of to parts: the shaft (the main part) and the glands (the tip, sometimes called the head). The penis delivers sperm through the urethra into the female reproductive tract • Scrotum: (sometimes called the scrotal sac) contains the testicles and epididymis and hangs under the penis healthguide.howstuffworks.com/male- marketmanila.com
Man terms: • Seminal Vesicle - Located at the base of the bladder, the two seminal vesicles secrete a thick fluid that nourishes the sperm • Bladder - a muscular sac that stores the urine it is released through the urethra • Vas Deferens - also called the ductus deferens, this thin muscular tube transport sperm form the epididymis to the urethra • Urethra - is the tube that carries semen and urine out of the penis • Epididymis - next to each testicle, the epididymis is a thightly called tube where sperm are started. From here, sperm are transported to the vas deferens • Testicle -the two testicles (or testes) produce sperm and the male sex hormone testosterone

Taking care of business As you get old the functioning of your reproductive system declines • Eating a proper diet low in fat, high in fiber • Maintain a healthy weight • Drinks lots of water • Be active and get good rest • NO DRUGS • Don’t get stressed out all the time (reduce your stress levels) • Maintain good hygiene • Safe sex, use a condom
