We need to know who you are because we are going to be running college application workshops next week to help teach you how to write and complete online application forms.
S5/6 Ready to Succeed – Employability Programme for Summer Leavers If you want to leave school in June, this programme may be for you. This is an employability training programme that teaches you some of the skills you will require to be successful on your road to employment. The programme also includes training on financial awareness delivered by Money Matters and a healthy living workshop. Last year, this course helped a number of pupils with their College and Apprenticeship application forms and many of the young people were accepted onto courses. There are only 20 places available for S4-6. Please see Miss McWaters if you are interested in a place.

We need to know who you are because we are going to be running college application workshops next week to help teach you how to write and complete online application forms. If you indicate you are thinking about leaving, we will arrange a careers interview to discuss your options before the college workshops. Attending the workshop does not mean you are tied down to leaving in June.
S2 Interested in being on TV? CBBC are going to filming a new TV programme called “Junior Vets On Call”. It will feature young people as they spend time at the frontline of animal care with a variety of experts. This is a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience for those involved - they'll be working alongside a brilliant team of top vets and veterinary staff, helping sick and injured animals on the road to recovery. If you are interested, please see Mrs Reid/Mrs Kerr
