EAE User Base and EAE Specialists • Over 100 active EAE users • Main EAE countries in Europe: • UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium • In each of these countries: • Team of EAE consultants, total Europe: over 15 • Team of EAE product support specialists, total Europe: over 10 • In the Netherlands, over 30 developers trained in AB Suite • Customers, Software Houses, Unisys
Our Start with AB Suite • In the Netherlands we always like new stuff • End 90’s we started to present and discuss OOLINC • From 2003: we participated in the Early Adopter Program • We introduced the product to some users • They gave very good feedback, like C# and more OO • They saw the value of the product strategy

Customer Example 4 Partnership in AB Suite Migration • Roadmap was defined in an eight-phase approach • Each phase is a separate project ( 1-n phases ) • Each phase starts with a Statement Of Work and ends with a Statement Of Work for the next phase • Every phase has a go / no go decision • Results of each phase are presented to the management
Customer Example 4 Eight-Phase Approach • Phases 1,2 and 3 • Show Safe Passage • First pick standalone application, work done at Unisys Center of Excellence Schiphol-Rijk • Repeat steps previous phase but on customer’s infrastructure • Repeat steps but then with the largest application • Phase 4 • Mitigate risk for the migration • During migration business as usual, the shop must stay open • Install/configure AB Suite infrastructure • Adjust the in-house developed change management tooling • Train developers (coaches) and administrator staff
Customer Example 4 Eight-Phase Approach • Phase 4, continued • Developers (coaches) will test working with the new LDL+ code in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 • Import and Build in AB Suite 1.2 for Runtime MCP • Test performance Online and Batch to see the impact on their development and production ClearPath MCP servers • Test performance in AB Suite building of elements and doing exports and imports of those elements between Microsoft Visual Studio solutions like dev/tst/acc/prd • Test performance AB Suite Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 IDE
Customer Example 4 Eight-Phase Approach • Phase 5 • Migrate one of the six application from EAE 3R3 to AB Suite 1.2 • See if lessons learned in phase 4 are still valid • Phase 6 • When the AB Suite application in previous stage runs ok then start migrating other five applications • Phase 7 • Investigate building new application with AB Suite • Phase 8 • Move AB Suite from MCP to Windows platform

Current Client Base UFSS • Four major UK banking clients • Two largest on ClearPath/DMSII • One on W2K/SQL Server • One on W2K/Oracle • Largest client has around 1.2M accounts running on UFSS • Clients have a variety of batch input and output extract file based interfaces • Clients have a range of real time interfaces over NOF/CE • Plan: to have UFSS in AB Suite by end June
Customer Example 7 Several AB Suite projects and a good Unisys team in France • Active EAE user group, includes both Windows and MCP customers • Unisys team works closely with their users • A number of training sessions conducted • Two users almost finished their migration efforts • One user with applications on Windows and MCP • AB Suite on Windows 1H 2008 • Two other users will start AB Suite projects in September
