FOUR TYPES OF PEOPLE in the worldwhen faced with a problem • Leinengen’s = logical, forceful, cool, highly adaptable, and successful. (TCB) • Dullards= “reeled senselessly and aimlessly into the abyss.” (drama king/queen or chicken littles – They have no intention of solving the problem, only running around screaming about it.) • Cranks= “however brilliant, lost their heads when circumstances suddenly altered or accelerated and ran into stone walls.” (control freak teacher types – They are smart and fine unless something happens they did not plan for. They then crash and burn in confusion and panic.) • Sluggards= “drifted with the current until they were caught into whirlpools and dragged under.” (slackers – They don’t care, won’t care, and will disappear into nothingness not caring and … NO ONE WILL CARE.)
Leiningen Argument against the dullards, sluggards, and cranks: “Intelligence, directed aright, invariably makes man the master of his fate.” What does this mean?
