  1. Ordinance of Baptism

  2. Call to Worship“I Believe in a Hill Called Mt. Calvary”

  3. “Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.” Psalms 26:2 (NKJV)

  4. “That's Why We Praise Him” He came to live, live a perfect life; He came to be the Living Word, our light. He came to die so we'd reconciled; He came to rise to show His pow'r and might.

  5. “That's Why We Praise Him” That's why we praise Him, that's why we sing; That's why we offer Him our ev'rything. That's why we bow down and worship this King, 'Cause He gave His ev'rything, 'cause He gave His ev'rything.

  6. “That's Why We Praise Him” He came to live, live again in us; He came to be our conqu'ring King and friend. He came to heal and show the lost ones His love; He came to go prepare a place for us.

  7. “That's Why We Praise Him” That's why we praise Him, that's why we sing; That's why we offer Him our ev'rything. That's why we bow down and worship this King, 'Cause He gave His ev'rything, 'cause He gave His ev'rything. (repeat 2 times)

  8. “The Old Rugged Cross” On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,The emblem of suff’ring and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and bestFor a world of lost sinners was slain. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,Till my trophies at last I lay down;I will cling to the old rugged cross,And exchange it some day for a crown.

  9. “The Old Rugged Cross” Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,Has a wondrous attraction for me;For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above,To bear it to dark Calvary. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,Till my trophies at last I lay down;I will cling to the old rugged cross,And exchange it some day for a crown.

  10. “The Old Rugged Cross” In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,Such a wondrous beauty I see;For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,To pardon and sanctify me. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,Till my trophies at last I lay down;I will cling to the old rugged cross,And exchange it some day for a crown.

  11. “The Old Rugged Cross” To the old rugged cross I will ever be true; Its shame and reproach gladly bear; Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,Where His glory forever I’ll share. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,Till my trophies at last I lay down;I will cling to the old rugged cross,And exchange it some day for a crown.

  15. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved,

  16. but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified. 2 Corinthians 13:5-7

  18. • A TIME OF PREPARATION

  19. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. Galatians 6:3-5 (NLT)

  20. • A TIME FOR PENITENCE AND DISCIPLINE

  21. Therefore since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the

  22. shame, and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3 (HCSB)

  23. • A TIME FOR SPECIAL PRAYER

  24. If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)

  25. • A TIME FOR SPIRITUAL RENEWAL AND GROWTH

  26. Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. Luke 9:23 (NKJV)

  27. • A TIME TO SHARE WITH OTHERS THE HOPE FOUND IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST

  28. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 (NKJV)

  29. “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” When I survey the wondrous crossOn which the Prince of Glory diedMy richest gain I count but lossAnd pour contempt on all my pride

  30. “The Wonderful Cross” Forbid it Lord that I should boastSave in the death of Christ my GodAll the vain things that charm me mostI sacrifice them to His blood

  31. “The Wonderful Cross” See from His head, His hands, His feetSorrow and love flow mingled downDid e’er such love and sorrow meetOr thorns compose so rich a crown

  32. “The Wonderful Cross” Were the whole realm of nature mineThat were a present far too smallLove so amazing so divineDemands my soul my life my all
