  5. Satin Ribbon • Most commonly used • Made of fabric • Easiest to work with ribbon • Comes in a variety of color, design and widths

  6. Types of Ribbon • For formal occasions ribbon with a finer texture is used.

  7. Sizes of Ribbon • Variety of sizes • Ribbon size follows industry standards • Ribbon carries a number in reference to the width. • The larger the number, the wider the ribbon.

  8. Ribbon Sizes • Most common ribbon sizes are 1 ½, 3, 9, and 40. • Some companies no longer produce 100 or 120.
