  1. Once upon a time there lived a very evil king. His name was King Alto Clef. Goss

  2. King Alto Clef ruled the land called Staff. It was a land of 5 lines and 4 spaces. King Alto Clef had a subject living on each line. Their names were F A C E and G G E C A F Goss

  3. The subjects of the Staff land were very unhappy because King Alto Clef was so mean. He wouldn’t even let them leave their lines!!! So, F A C E and G had to stay put on their lines. G E C A F Goss

  4. Then one day, King Alto Clef decided to change his image!!! He wanted to be nice so he let F A C E and G leave their lines and he built them some stores! Goss

  5. In between where F A C E and G lived, he built some stores! A Grocery store; Book store; Department store; and Fun store! (If they couldn’t find what they wanted it would be in the Fun store!) G B D F G E C A F Goss

  6. F A C E and G went shopping all day but got lost on their way home, so King Alto Clef thought up a saying: Frequently All Cows Eat Grass! Can you help F A C E and G find their homes? Goss
