  3. Pirmin Zurbriggen has participated in two Olympic games. The 1984 Olympics in Sara Jevo and the 1984 in Calgary.

  5. His Greatest Disappointment It was a dark night in Calgary, and the legendary skier, Pirmin Zurbriggen, had just won a gold Olympic medal, and was on his way to what seemed like another. As he watched, a member of the Austrian medical team was torn apart by runaway snow machine. The chairlift seemed to take forever, and Pirmin felt a feeling of dread over take him. He heard a scream, and looked down. Overcome by fear, an afraid Pirmin had to settle for a bronze medal.
